Patience… I ask that you remain unruffled and slow to express resentment.
I live in an awareness of not delivering to you, my readers, the completed questionnaires so deftly loosened from the hands of the Deputy Emissary of Audit Standards. I logged many an hour traveling through the collective universe of audit committee conscious and ingesting the results. Woefully, after nearly completing a summation of the resultant hilarity, and dismissing any regret for the manner by which access was gained, the long arm of the Center for Audit Quality gripped me betwixt my diaspora.
These audit committee questionnaire results, were news, I felt, bound for the public sphere. They are ostensibly not deemed public information and I am dutifully sharing this information under a pending order of the court, recently served.
As many of you were made aware, my absence from Modern Accountancy was based upon the belief that my debt was paid and I no longer owed any public service to a certain judge or his agent. Not the case… The legal might of Hyde, Kerldik, Shekel & Hartshatz, provided no harbor from the invasions of the Center for Audit Quality. I advise caution and to heed any promptings to again peer over your shoulder.
